Infrastructure Initiatives has participated in multiple leak detection projects in the past three years.  In addition to performing acoustic surveys of hydrants, valves, and curbstops, Steve has had the opportunity to participate in an internal inspection of a leaking transmission main using an ROV (remote operated vehicle), installed an acoustic listener into non-metallic, pressurized pipe to pinpoint leaks, used helium tracer gas on new pipe, and followed-up in the field on satellite-based leak detection projects.
