Infrastructure Initiatives has prepared annual water  audits using the IWA/AWWA Standard Water Balance methodology for the City of St. John's, NL.

For end-users Infrastructure Initiatives has collected and reviewed their billing invoices to identify issues related to metering inaccuracies, estimated readings, data-handling errors, internal leakage, and high consumption.

Steve's previous project experience includes dozens of water balances as well as audits of the data used to complete the balance including detailed analyses of large extracts of customer billing data, meter readings, and meter accuracy tests.  A small number of clients have had the opportunity to compare the results of a top-down exercise like the water balance with the bottom-up calculation of recoverable leakage based on flow-monitoring exercises.
